Group Socialization & Neutrality Walks
All Dogs are Welcome!
Come and join us for free group dog socialization walks with your dog! These walks are hosted by Hounding Around's Head Trainer and owner, Avery Dobson. They provide a great opportunity to practice neutrality around other dogs and people. Bring your dog training questions and get ready for some group exercises and walks in Portland and Gresham's parks!
Reactive dogs, puppies, overly excited dogs, and dogs needing a confidence boost are all welcome. We ensure each dog's space is respected—no on-leash greetings with other dogs—so we can foster a safe and positive experience for everyone.
If your dog is reactive, we can work together to ensure a safe and productive experience for you and your pup, as long as you feel that you have control of your dog on leash. Feel free to reach out with questions or concerns at any point.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask that dogs remain leashed, all bathroom breaks are cleaned up, and participants follow the requests and guidelines set by Hounding Around. If you or your dog are feeling unwell, please keep the health and well-being of other participants in mind and join us for the next session.
